The challenge
A civil engineering and infrastructure maintenance firm had an old website that didn’t reflect what it does. Search engines presented it as a renovation company, most pages had no search description, analytics set cookies before visitors accepted the banner and the contact form was unreliable.
Underneath were unsupported software and an abandoned theme: patching it piece by piece no longer made sense.
The solution
We started with an audit that changed nothing: server, content, SEO, performance, privacy and design, separating what was verified from what was only a hypothesis. The conclusion was to rebuild the site from scratch, without reusing the old code or database.
The new website will keep the texts, the real photos of the firm’s work and the page addresses, with redirects where they change. It will organise the services around civil engineering, give each page a single main heading and its own search description, and serve lightweight images.
Analytics will only run with the visitor’s consent, and the legal texts will be rewritten.

The result
The audit has already given the firm a clear list of what to keep, what not to migrate and what to fix. With the new website it will have an online presence that explains what it really does, that search engines understand and that respects its visitors’ privacy.
