Cookie policy

This policy explains what this site stores in your browser. In short: we do not use analytics, advertising or third-party cookies, which is why you do not see a cookie banner.

What we use

Only technical storage: what is strictly needed to sign in to the admin panel, and what remembers a preference you choose. None of it is used to follow you across other websites or to profile visitors.

WordPress session cookies

The site runs on WordPress. Its session cookies (whose names start with wordpress_ or wp-) are only created when someone signs in to the admin panel, which means the Brains team. If you are just visiting the site, none are set.

Light or dark mode preference

If you press the button to switch between light and dark mode, your browser saves your choice in its local storage (localStorage) under the name brains-tema, with the value light or dark. It is not a cookie: it is never sent to our server or anyone else, and it stays in your browser until you delete it. If you never press the button, nothing is saved and the site follows your system setting.

Language

Your language is not stored in a cookie: it is part of the web address. Spanish pages have no prefix and English pages start with /en/.

No analytics or advertising

We do not use analytics tools, advertising pixels, social media buttons, or videos or maps embedded from other companies. Scripts and fonts are served from our own server. If we ever add something like that, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your permission first.

How to clear your browser data

You can delete this site’s cookies and local storage from your browser settings, usually in the privacy section (“Clear browsing data” or “Site data”). If you delete brains-tema, the site will go back to following your system’s mode. The other data we handle is described in our privacy policy.
